Lithuania Industrial Output Rises the Most in 5 Months
Industrial production in Lithuania surged 7.8 percent year-on-year in September of 2019, following a revised 0.3 percent rise in the prior month. This was the strongest growth in industrial production since April, as production expanded faster for both manufacturing (7.6 percent vs 0.1 percent in August) and electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (12.5 percent vs 7.3 percent), while water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities went up by 2.9 percent, after showing no growth in August. In addition, output shrank softer for mining & quarrying (-0.5 percent vs -10.5 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production increased 2.4 percent, after a downwardly revised 1.6 percent fall in August.

Lithuania Industrial Output Falls for 1st Time in 3 Years
Industrial production in Lithuania dropped 0.4 percent year-on-year in August of 2019, following a downwardly revised 4.5 percent rise in the prior month. This was the first decline in industrial production since June 2016, as manufacturing output shrank (-0.8 percent vs 4.2 percent in July) and output of mining & quarrying fell faster (-12.6 percent vs -6.2 percent). In addition, both of output growth of electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (9.0 percent vs 12.7 percent), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (0.1 percent vs 21.0 percent) slowed. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went down 2.5 percent, after a downwardly revised 0.6 percent gain in July.

Lithuania Industrial Output Rises the Most in 3 Months
Industrial production in Lithuania increased 5.2 percent year-on-year in July of 2019, following an upwardly revised 2.2 percent rise in the prior month. This was the strongest growth rate in industrial production since April, as output expanded faster for: manufacturing (4.7 percent vs 2.1 percent in June); electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (15.9 percent vs 6.9 percent), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (20.5 percent vs 1.1 percent). In addition, output of mining & quarrying fell less than a month earlier (-6.5 percent vs -8.7 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went up 1.2 percent, after an upwardly revised 2.3 percent gain in June.

Lithuania Industrial Output Growth Accelerates to 1.6% in June
Industrial production in Lithuania increased 1.6 percent year-on-year in June of 2019, following a 0.8 percent rise in the prior month. Output expanded faster for both manufacturing (1.5 percent vs 0.6 percent in May) and electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (6.6 percent vs 4.3 percent). Meanwhile, output of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities grew softer (0.5 percent vs 2.2 percent). On the other hand, output of mining & quarrying fell further (-10.1 percent vs -0.6 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went up 1.8 percent, after a 0.3 percent fall in May.

Lithuania Industrial Output Growth Slows to 8-Month Low
Industrial production in Lithuania increased 0.8 percent year-on-year in May of 2019, easing from a 13.8 percent rise in the prior month. It was the weakest growth in industrial output since September last year, as output expanded softer for: manufacturing (0.6 percent vs 14 percent in April); water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.2 percent vs 3.9 percent), and electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (4.3 percent vs 12.2 percent) while output of mining & quarrying fell (-0.6 percent vs 6.3 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went down 0.3 percent, after an upwardly revised 0.6 percent fall in April.

Lithuania Industrial Output Growth Highest Since 2013
Industrial production in Lithuania surged 13.8 percent year-on-year in April of 2019, accelerating from a 5.1 percent rise in the prior month. It was the strongest growth in industrial output since May 2013, as output expanded faster for both manufacturing (14 percent vs 7.0 percent in March) and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (3.5 percent vs 2.4 percent) while electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply rebounded sharply (12.3 percent vs -11.1 percent). Meantime, output of mining & quarrying grew softer (4.9 percent vs 24 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went down 0.3 percent, after a 3.4 percent rise in March.
